Mr. Patel is a consultant ophthalmologist who specialises in the medical and surgical management of disorders related to the front part of the eye. He is an advanced cataract and lens based intraocular surgeon dealing with the correction of refractive error to deal with spectacle and contact lens independence. Mr Patel leads the corneal transplant service at The James Cook University Hospital where he also runs a busy and rewarding NHS practice
