.Sonali Kinra is a full-time GP partner at Hucknall Road Medical Centre, the second largest practice in Nottingham City. She is a LMC representative for City practices and member of the NORCOMM cluster management board. She also has a commissioning role as the clinical lead for Maternity and Children Services for Nottingham City CCG. Sonali has an extended role with interest in hepatology and is Vice-Chair of the Vale of Trent RCGP Faculty. This has helped build relationships across primary and secondary care.
Sonali was appointed as GP advisor on the Greater Nottingham Joint Commissioning committee in April 2018, championing the health needs of people from deprived and diverse communities. She is also an organiser for Nottingham’s Next Generation GP programme and is a strong advocate for promoting diversity and women in leadership positions.
Sonali is highly enthusiastic about collaborative working within primary care and building networks across the system to improve the services we provide to our population, develop resilience and enhance work/life balance for our practice teams.
