Dr Sachchidananda Maiti is an NHS consultant Gynaecologist & Obstetrician based in Manchester, UK. He graduated from the University of Calcutta, India in 1992, and has decades of clinical experience in his field both in the UK and abroad. He is now an Honorary Senior Lecturer ( Research and Teaching) at Manchester University Medical School, but has lectured and been involved in clinical teaching at a number of hospitals and universities in the UK and abroad.
He specialises in the management and treatment of a wide variety of gynaecological conditions and ultrasound investigations relating to period problems, pregnancy and miscarriage. As a Principal Investigator (PI) of several national and international research projects, He has a keen interest in the analysis and research of obstetric and gynaecological care. He can help explore difficulties in getting pregnant, problems during early pregnancy, and ensuring any concerns on screening tests or any gynaecological health condition. His basic principle in clinical practice is simple, empowering personal care.
