I'm a GP who has (re)trained in General Internal Medicine and also now practice as a Hospital Consultant in General (Internal) Medicine. I now practice, appraise & revalidate in both roles. I am on both the GP and the Specialist Registers held by the United Kingdom's General Medical Council.
I currently work in a small 34-bed rural hospital in Fort William, Scotland. Throughout my career I have been involved in service redesign (both as a GP and hospital consultant), innovation, lean methodology, and training and education.
