Michal Sut is a Consultant Urological Surgeon working in Peterborough and Stamford Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Fitzwilliam Hospital in Peterborough.
Michal also holds honorary contract at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge where he works closely with kidney cancer team.
About
Mr Sut graduated from Gdansk, Poland before moving on to complete his Foundation Training and Basic Surgical Training in Belfast, Northern Ireland. During this time he gained a vast experience in numerous surgical specialties including urology, vascular, upper and lower gastro-intestinal and liver surgery. He also worked in one of the busiest A+E departments in the country in Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast.
Michal moved on to further his career after securing a national training number in urology in East Anglia. During this time he gained general urological experience in Bedford and Luton before joining Addenbrookes hospital in Cambridge for 2 and a half years of sub specialised surgery.
During his time in Cambridge Michal gained considerable experience in management of complex patients and variety of operative techniques when he was involved in functional and oncological bladder surgery, prostate diagnostics and most importantly treatment of benign prostate disease and kidney cancer.
Michal's clinical expertise covers broad spectrum of general urological conditions. He has particular interest in Endo-Urology including laparoscopic treatment of renal cancer ("key-hole" surgery) as well as verious techniques of treatment of male lower urinary tract symptoms (HoLEP and TURP) and stone disease.
