Dr James completed his medical degree in 2009. He went on to do his housemanship in Sarawak General Hospital and later trained as an Ear Nose and Throat surgeon in the University of Malaya Medical Center becoming a board certified specialist in 2018. He passed the European Board exams and became a Fellow of the EBEORL in 2019 and is also a Fellow of the American Academy of ORLHNS and Fellow of the International College of Surgeons. He is still currently practicing in Putrajaya Hospital and teaches undergraduates at the Cyberjaya University. His has keen interest in general ENT with specific areas of interest include pediatric, vertigo/dizziness, snoring and rhinoplasty.
