Mr. Hadi Zambarakji is an experienced Ophthalmic Surgeon specialising in Vitreoretinal and cataract surgery. With over 10 years as a Consultant, Hadi Zambarakji takes a particular interest in the management of retinal diseases and diabetic eye disease including surgery for advanced diabetic retinal detachments and intravitreal injections. He trained at the world-renowned Moorfields Eye Hospital in London and the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in Boston before returning to London in 2005 to take up a Consultant Post at Whipps Cross University Hospital (now part of Barts Health the largest NHS Trust in the UK). In his NHS practice, Hadi Zambarakji has taken a number of additional roles including being College Tutor and Regional Advisor to the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, Examiner for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, Clinical Governance Lead for Ophthalmology. Hadi has a particular interest in training and education having started the Fellowship program at Whipps Cross shortly after starting as a Consultant.
