Andrew is an award winning cataract and glaucoma surgeon with a special interest in cataract surgery and all forms of glaucoma treatment.
He is a consultant at Princess Alexandra Eye Pavilion, Edinburgh and offers private appointments at The Edinburgh Clinic, seeing patients from across Scotland and abroad. He provides a service personalised to the needs of individual patients.
Andrew is one of the few ophthalmologists to have completed two advanced training fellowships, graduating from two of the world's leading eye hospitals - Moorfields Eye Hospital, London and Shiley Eye Institute, University of California, San Diego, USA.
He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, The Royal College of Ophthalmologists and European Board of Ophthalmologists, awarded the highest score in Europe in his board examination.
Andrew was one of the first ophthalmologists in Europe to pass the European Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ESCRS) Subspecialist in Cataract and Refractive Surgery Diploma.
Andrew works with most insurance companies but many of his patients choose to self pay. A new patient consultation is £200.
